BEVERLY TAYLOR
PA to Brian Daniels

Bev joined Pluto Play Productions in 2008 as a Personal Assistant to Brian Daniels who was also running the New End Theatre, Shaw Theatre and New Players Theatre in London’s West End. Over the past 15 years, Bev has embraced all administrative aspects of Pluto Play Productions and manages the finance and statutory side of the company. Prior to joining, Bev worked for a range of NHS and Academic institutions and is also the Administrator of a major UK Dance Organisation.


AHUVA COHEN
Press and Marketing Director

Ahuva joined the New End Theatre, Hampstead in 2001 and worked closely with Artistic Director, Brian Daniels on press, marketing and publicity until the theatre closed in 2011. She then joined Pluto Play Productions and continued to work with Brian in a similar role. During her time at the New End Theatre, she worked with notable writers and performers including Steven Berkoff, Richard Dreyfuss, Fenella Fielding, Nicholas Parsons, Helen Lederer and many more. Ahuva is a graduate of the Open University and the recipient of ‘A London Woman of the Year Award’ for advancing Israeli theatre in the UK. She is the author of ‘Remembering Alan’ a tribute to her late husband, Alan Cohen (published in 2013).


SOPHIE TURNER
Programming Director

Sophie has worked as Programming Director for Pluto Play Productions since 2018. She started her working life at Theatre Royal Bath and has also worked as as a PA/administrator in various roles, including in BBC TV Drama/Plays, Film & TV tie-ins for Penguin Books, the Marketing Department at Christie’s and in the Events Office at the RIBA.  Most recently she has worked as a project manager for the drama-based training company, Steps Drama.


Shwan Rashid
Technical Assistant

Shwan came to the UK from Northern Iraq as an economic refugee. He joined Pluto Play Productions as a volunteer intern about 5 years ago and has learned the language and technical aspects of theatre production. He assists the company with technical and practical support for all performances and looks forward to becoming more fluent and attending technical classes to develop his skills further.  

 
 
 

Henry Bryan,
Research Intern

Henry was first introduced to Pluto Play Production when performing in Brian Daniel's play 'Blue Skies'. He graduated from the University of Lincoln with a Bachelor's in 'Drama and Theatre'. During this period, Henry also studied at L-Universita ta' Malta under the Erasmus scheme. In Malta, Henry worked with local companies as an actor and stage manager. Once returning to England, he became General Manager of both The Lincoln Company (2023) and Scum!Collective. Currently, he continues as a freelancing actor and also works closely with Dark Horse Theatre as an assistant facilitator to their 'Young Company IGNITE'
